These shortcuts appear on the ready to ship page, making shipping presets easy to select when creating labels. Shipping presets can be used within shipping rules to apply carrier services to orders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create shipping presets, go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Shipment Settings <\/strong>&gt; <strong>Shipping Presets<\/strong> &gt; <strong>New Preset.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your shipping preset has been created, it\u2019ll appear on your list of shipping presets. Merchants can choose up to 10 shipping presets by selecting the star icon next to each preset. For example, if you\u2019d like to filter orders from new customers, you can create a new order tag named <strong>first-time. <\/strong>Along with shipping presets, order tags can be used in shipping rules.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add an Order Tag to an individual order, go to the <strong>Orders page<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Click your order<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Scroll down to Tags<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Enter and save your tag.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"shipping-rules\">Shipping Rules<\/h3>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.shippingeasy.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4407006625435-Shipping-Rules-FAQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shipping rules<\/a> are made up of If\/Then statements. Think of shipping rules in terms of cause and effect. The If statement will act as the cause, and the Then statement is the effect. For example, a shipping rule might state:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IF: Store is equal to Shopify&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>THEN: Set shipping preset to First Class Package&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create shipping rules with the following steps: <strong>Settings<\/strong> > <strong>Shipment Settings<\/strong> > <strong>Shipping Rules<\/strong> > <strong>+ Add New. <\/strong>Your shipping rule will then be applied to all incoming orders. The only big thing to note is orders can only be combined if they come from the same store. For example, a <a href=\"https:\/\/support.shippingeasy.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4405498068379-Shopify\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shopify<\/a> order can\u2019t be combined with an <a href=\"https:\/\/support.shippingeasy.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4404425873563-Amazon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amazon<\/a> order. Orders can be combined by going to the <strong>Orders page<\/strong> > <strong>Select the orders you want to combine<\/strong> > <strong>More<\/strong> > <strong>Combine Orders<\/strong> ><strong> Selected\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/ujshCAx1WVup4JrYwI8yrZvdultZjl-1ZoxLhkc6jaUDR-i0-yBvb0nBMWSj7wo_zPtKb4jeio1lDIWdiXxJPENqdZn2HmjIwgMRweTOl3vK7KdtF25UBt5I25_1E7SQgah5STpHKOt95usU0MluvnI\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"splitting-orders\">Splitting Orders<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/support.shippingeasy.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4407017554715-Splitting-Orders-with-Shipping-Rules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">splitting orders<\/a> function is used to separate orders with two or more items into multiple orders. Say your business has an item listed on your website for pre-order. The pre-order product won\u2019t ship until the release date, but your customer buys this item along with available products. You can split the order and divide it into multiple shipments, so your customer doesn\u2019t have to wait until the pre-sale item is available to receive their entire order. You can split orders on the orders page with the help of these steps: <strong>Orders page<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Select the order you would like to split<\/strong> &gt; <strong>More<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Split Order.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/Q0FLfY4M1bxc2QGuqnPmQNj_ZmQebbOO7J6nx0YeFdGNmgQaE3rnAXXVNKMUIImd8-T5G4Havf1WdrSw2gOJVjP6Kib9yjc5UrJ4B0SE0uwu-UjxYFUJREe6FP_gRFgTLfEbf-4ZO_upsu-_DcOryL4\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h6> Read our blog How Splitting Orders Can Save On Shipping <a href=\"https:\/\/shippingeasy.com\/blog\/how-splitting-orders-can-save-on-shipping\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> for more info<\/a>.<\/h6>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"filtering-orders\">Filtering Orders<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Orders can be <a href=\"https:\/\/support.shippingeasy.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4405549696411-Filter-Unshipped-Orders\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">filtered<\/a> through categories such as the store the order came from, the order\u2019s destination, and the order tags we discussed earlier. To filter your orders, go to your <strong>orders page<\/strong> and select <strong>more filters<\/strong>. From here, you\u2019ll select the filters you need, and voila! You can remove the filters and return to your full unshipped order list by simply clicking the <strong>\u201cx\u201d <\/strong>next to the filter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/support.shippingeasy.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4406912143515-Filter-Shipments-in-SHIPMENT-HISTORY-How-To\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shipment history<\/a> page also has several filters to help you find orders that have shipped within the last 90 days.
